It's official! Annie's Creek is up and running and making money!
This past weekend was my first order cycle as a producer for the Cloverbelt Local Food Co-Op and I cleaned up! In all fairness, I only had one item listed (11 dozen pierogies) but I sold out... and in the first hour and a half no less! I'm pretty proud of myself and I won't even try to hide it. I didn't make a million dollars (not even close), but this is the first time I've made money for the ranch from the ranch. Every dollar counts and I can tangibly feel that this is the first step towards independence and self sufficiency on my property.
I'm unsure as of the close of this cycle if there is going to be another order cycle over the Easter weekend, but regardless I am planning on doubling my production to see if I can sell twice as much. What the heck, right?
If you aren't a member of the co-op or are interested in a farm gate sale feel free to shoot me a message and we can arrange for a pick-up or delivery!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be pinch pierogies...
